- Zero-trust network access (ZTNA): Verifies the identity of every user and device before allowing them to access internal resources by setting up one-to-one encrypted connections
- Secure web gateway (SWG): Filters web traffic and applies security protocols to block potentially dangerous malware
- Next-generation firewall (NGFW): Goes deeper and has a wider scope than SWG, stopping cyberthreats by inspecting network data—not just web traffic
- Firewall-as-a-Service (FWaaS): Provides cloud-delivered firewall service security with traffic filtering, monitoring, intrusion prevention, and threat detection
- Cloud access security broker (CASB): Helps protect cloud-connected users and applications by detecting and remediating suspicious behavior
